The commonly used R type gasket according to section divided into elliptic or octagonal, standard R type ring gasket by API6A and ASME B16.20 standard size, maximum pressure is 10000PSI.

In the trapezoidal groove flange gasket and elliptical pad can be interchanged. RX octagonal pad applies pressure enhanced standard R type ring gasket, suitable for R type as the flange groove seal face.
